Perry and Ruby Stevens were quiet and generous philanthropists, contributing to many, many projects which benefited Hill Country communities.  The Stevens Charitable Foundation has been serving the Texas Hill Country since January 2006.

Based in Kerrville, Texas the Perry and Ruby Stevens Charitable Foundation provides grants to local 501(c)(3) organizations of the hill country.

Grants are limited to qualified non-profit organizations located in or directly serving residents of Bandera, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Mason, and Real counties.

The grant cycle includes four opportunities to apply annually with funds being issued to awarded organizations a maximum of one-time per year.

Grants made by the Foundation shall be to accomplish only specific goals and objectives within the purposes specified within our guidelines section.

Grants made by the Foundation shall be to accomplish specific goals and objectives within the purposes specified by our guidelines and shall not be utilized to fund the general operating expenses of a grantee.

Grants for Qualified Non-Profits in Texas

Eligibility

The Foundation will make grants only to organizations that are exempt from federal tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are not classified as private foundations under section 509(a) of the Code.

Geographical Guidelines

Grants are made to qualified non-profit organizations to accomplish the charitable purposes of the Foundation with particular responsiveness to grant requests and inquiries originating in the Texas Hill Country.
